SEC: Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship

Championship Week 2006
Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship: No. 6E Georgia became the first No. 6 seed to win the SEC tournament as they never trailed No. 2W Arkansas on its way to a 66-57 win. The Bulldogs held Arkansas to 2-of-17 from behind the arc and were resilient to any runs the Razorbacks would throw at them. Terrance Woodbury, who was named to the all-tournament team, led the way for Georgia with 16 points. Sundiata Gaines was named the tournament MVP and finished with 11 points.
