Nolan Richardson Will Not Coach Arkansas State: Former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson said he’s no longer an option to become the new head coach at Arkansas State. Richardson was fired by the Razorbacks in 2002 but was talking to Arkansas State, which had an opening after Dickey Nutt resigned as coach Feb. 19. He said he’s still interested in coaching but that he and the university aren’t on the same page. The 66-year-old’s latest coaching stints include leading national Mexican and Panamanian teams.
