SEC to Refund Tickets: After being forced by a tornado to move the conference championship from the Georgia Dome, the SEC is prepared to refund fans for the tickets they couldn’t use. The championship was moved from the 26,000-seat dome to Georgia Tech’s 9,000-seat Alexander Memorial Coliseum. As a result, only bands, parents and cheerleaders were able to watch the games. Refunds for Saturday’s and Sunday’s games will definitely be issued, but several games had already been played on Friday, making refunds for that day more complicated.
