Connecticut: UConn’s Price Tears ACL

UConn’s Price Tears ACL: A.J. Price, a junior point guard for Connecticut, tore the ACL in his left knee during the Huskies’ upset loss to San Diego in the NCAA tournament. Price is expected to have surgery this week. The recovery time is expected to be six months, and the Huskeis are hopeful Price will be able to practice in September and return for his senior year. Price averaged 15 points and six assists a game this season. This is just the latest setback in Price’s career – he missed two seasons with a brain hemorrhage and was suspended as a sophomore for his role in stealing laptops on campus.
