UAB’s Davis Gets Two-Year Extension: Mike Davis, head coach at Alabama-Birmingham, has signed a two-year extension that will also give him a $25,000 a year raise. His contract now runs through the 2012-13 season and has a base salary of $625,000 a year. Last year, he led the Blazers to a 23-11 record and an NIT appearance.
