Indiana Says It’s Done Enough: Indiana officials said in their response to the NCAA infractions committee regarding the violations committed by former coach Kelvin Sampson and his staff that they have done enough to punish the Hoosiers program. Team officials cited the 2008-09 scholarship loss, continued recruiting restrictions and new coaching staff — led by Tom Crean. The university still must go to an infractions committee hearing to find out if the committee is satisfied with the school’s punitive measures. Sampson and his staff made improper calls, text messages and other communications with recruits despite being under probation for similar violations while at Oklahoma. In addition, Sampson and his staff allegedly obstructed an NCAA and university investigation. [5/12/08]
