No. 1 Radford protected its home court against No. 4 UNC-Asheville, beating the Bulldogs 94-86 to advance to the Big South championship game. The Highlanders will host No. 2 VMI Saturday. The Keydets beat Radford on its home court earlier in the season. Senior guard Kenny Thomas posted a season-high 35 points in the win against UNC-Asheville, hitting five three-pointers in the game.

No. 2 VMI took advantage of No. 3 Liberty’s second-half struggles to overcome a five-point halftime deficit and win 78-58. The Keydets forced 17 turnovers and held freshman sharpshooter Seth Curry — brother of Stephen Curry — to 4-of-15 shooting. Senior guard Chavis Holmes led VMI with 22 points.
