(1) Radford 108, (2) VMI 94

No. 1 Radford protected its home court against No. 2 VMI, winning 108-94 to capture the team’s first Big South championship in 11 years. The Highlanders dominated inside, out-rebounding the Keydets 56-24. Junior center Artsiom Parakhouski was unstoppable for Radford with 26 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks. Two other Radford players posted double-doubles: junior Joey Lynch-Flor had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and senior Kenny Thomas had 15 points and 10 rebounds. VMI could not handle the 6-11 Parakhouski or Radford’s other bigger players.
