Ivy: Cornell Grabs First Ticket to NCAA Tournament

With an 83-59 victory against Penn Friday night, Cornell secured the Ivy League title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Big Red had a huge second half to pull away from the Quakers and capture their second consecutive league title. Junior forward Ryan Wittman led Cornell with 25 points. Princeton’s loss at Columbia guaranteed that the Tigers would not be able to overtake Cornell in the standings.
