No. 1 Robert Morris surged into the Northeast Conference championship game by whipping No. 5 Quinnipieac 75-48. The Colonials shot 59 percent from the field while holding the Bobcats to 33 percent shooting. Senior guard Jeremy Chappell led Robert Morris with 25 points and eight rebounds. Robert Morris will get a chance to beat No. 2 Mount St. Mary’s for a third time this season in the championship game.

No. 2 Mount St. Mary’s won a tight semifinal game 68-63 against No. 3 Sacred Heart. Junior forward Kelly Beidler led four Mountaineers in double figures. Mount St. Mary’s benefited from the Pioneers’ struggles at the free throw line, where they missed 6-of-14 attempts.
