Elon coach Ernie Nestor resigned after the Phoenix finished 11-20 and 7-13 in the Southern Conference this season. Nestor coached Elon for six seasons and finished with a 67-117 record. Before working at Elon, Nestor worked as an assistant coach at Wake Forest and head coach at George Mason.
