With less than 10 minutes remaining and down 60-50, No. 1 North Dakota State went to work on a comeback. Senior guard Ben Woodside capped the rally with a jumper with three seconds remaining, giving the Bison a 66-64 win against No. 3 Oakland. A Division I member since 2007, North Dakota State completed its first Summit League championship and earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore forward Michael Tvedit led North Dakota State with 21 points.
