Syracuse, North Carolina, California and Ohio State will be hosts in the 2009 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, the Gazelle Group announced today. All four schools will host two other teams and play both of them in early play, then advance to New York for the championship rounds, regardless of the first round results.
The field will have 12 teams, with the other eight teams playing two more games at two other sites while the four host schools are in New York. That guarantees every team in the event four games.
Matchups will be announced at a later date.
