In front of a partisan Indianapolis crowd, No. 3 Purdue beat No. 5 Ohio State 65-61 for the Big Ten championship. Sophomore guard E’Twaun Moore led the Boilermakers with 17 points, and sophomore forward JaJuan Johnson added 16 points. Purdue shot only 34 percent but made as many field goals as the Buckeyes because the Boilermakers collected 14 offensive rebounds. Sophomore forward Robbie Hummel helped hoover the loose rebounds with nine points and 11 rebounds, including four at the offensive end.
