Utah sophomore forward Morgan Grim informed coach Jim Boylen that he wanted to play at another school for this final two seasons. Grim averaged 0.8 points and 0.9 rebounds per game in 42 games with the Utes. In a university press release, Grim thanked the team while announcing his intention to move on.
“I believe it is in my best interest to continue my career at another institution. I appreciate the chance to be a Ute but I think it is time to explore other opportunities,” Grim said.
