No. 11 Towson Upsets No. 3 Northeastern in Colonial SemiFinal
Towson pulled off one upset at the CAA Tournament, just like last year. This time around, they added a quarterfinal win as well.
Northeast: Colonials Move Closer to Championship
No. 1 Robert Morris surged into the Northeast Conference championship game by whipping No. 5 Quinnipieac 75-48. No. 2 Mount St. Mary’s won a tight semifinal game 68-63 against No. 3 Sacred Heart.
Patriot: Gilmore Bails Out American
Senior forward Brian Gilmore hit a tying three-pointer and go-ahead free throw in the final minute to push No. 1 American past No. 4 Army 61-60. The Eagles will face No. 2 Holy Cross, which beat No. 6 Colgate 61-44.
SoCon: Charleston Knocks Off Davidson
No. 3S College of Charleston just made Selection Sunday more interesting. By beating No. 1S Davidson 59-52, the Cougars advanced to the Southern Conference championship game. Charleston will face No. 1N Chattanooga after the Mocs beat No. 3N Samford 81-70.
Summit League: Thunderbirds Win Despite Imbalanced Offense
No. 5 Southern Utah beat No. 4 IUPUI 53-48 thanks to junior guard Davis Baker’s 25 points. He was one of only four Thunderbirds to score in the game. No. 3 Oakland shot better than 60 percent from the field and cruised to a 75-62 win against No. 6 IPFW.

Sun Belt: Hilltoppers Advance
Defending Sun Belt champion No. 1 Western Kentucky moved a step closer to repeating as conference champion by beating No. 9 Florida International 66-48. The Hilltoppers will play No. 4 North Texas, which beat No. 5 Middle Tennessee State 88-79.
West Coast: Gonzaga and St. Mary’s to Meet in Championship
No. 1 Gonzaga crushed No. 4 Santa Clara to move into the championship game, while Patty Mills and No. 2 St. Mary’s will have a chance to pick up a quality win.
Cleveland State Upsets Green Bay
Cleveland State trailed by 12 at one point, but wore down Wisconsin-Green Bay and pulled it out, advancing to the Horizon League Championship.
