Hawaii extended the contract of coach Bob Nash by one year, ensuring Nash will be on the sidelines for the Rainbow Warriors through 2011. After two seasons, Nash has a 24-36 record. However, the team improved this season, and a university press release highlights positive trends.
Nash has mentored three all-conference players, an all-district selection and landed one of the program’s most highly-touted recruits in his first full year of recruiting. Five of the seven players who completed their eligibility in 2007-08 have already earned their degrees with two on schedule to graduate this year.
