Michigan State guards Korie Lucious and Chris Allen battled through foot injuries that will require surgery within the next week. Lucious, a freshman, averaged 3.2 points per game this past season, and Allen, a junior, was fifth on the team with 8.4 points per game. Both players are expected to recover in about two months.
