Florida International fired coach Sergio Rouco after he failed to lead the Golden Panthers to a winning season in five years. Rouco finished his tenure in Miami with a 55-94 record. The Golden Panthers are one of the Sun Belt Conference’s perennial bottom-feeders, and Athletic Director Pete Garcia hopes to bring in a coach to bring a winning culture to Florida International.
