DePaul sophomore swingman Dar Tucker announced that he will enter the NBA Draft and hire an agent, which means he will be ineligible to return to the Blue Demons. Tucker led DePaul with 18.5 points per game and was the Blue Demons’ most reliable scorer even though the team failed to win a Big East game during the regular season. Tucker thanked the team in a university press release and expressed hope about his future.
“This decision did not come easy for me because of my feelings for DePaul University. Coach Wainwright, my family and I have talked about my future and together we all decided this was the best decision for me at this time based upon personal circumstances.”
