Despite projections that have him going as high as No. 3 in this year’s NBA Draft, Georgetown freshman center Greg Monroe will return to the Hoyas next season. Although Georgetown struggled this past season, Monroe showed plenty of potential in averaging 12.7 points and 6.5 rebound per game. Monroe did not consistently dominate games, but he proved he can agilely handle the ball, a coveted trait among 6-10 players. Monroe might be one of the top picks in next year’s draft if he can become more effective at the defensive end and more consistent on offense.
