Washington State: Bone Brings Allen to Cougars’ Staff

New Washington State coach Ken Bone has hired Curtis Allen as an assistant coach. Allen worked with Bone at Portland State for the past four seasons. Bone first worked with Allen when the new assistant coach was still a player at Washington and Bone was an assistant coach. A university press release outlines some of Allen’s work as an assistant.

At PSU, Allen was involved with all aspects of coaching on the floor for the Vikings. He primarily worked with the guards and the defensive side of the game, and was heavily involved in recruiting.

“I’m excited that Curtis will be joining our staff here at Washington State,” Bone said. “We have worked together the past four years at Portland State and he’s done an outstanding job with recruiting and also with his on-the-court responsibilities. Curtis is a young coach that has a great career ahead of him in the coaching profession.”
