Morgan State has given coach Todd Bozeman a new five-year contract after Bozeman led the Bears to the team’s first NCAA Tournament appearance. In only three seasons with the Bears, Bozeman already has the most Division I wins in team history.

Valparaiso: Freshman Looks to Go Pro in Germany
Valparaiso freshman forward Benjamin Furney has decided to leave the Crusaders to seek a professional contract in Europe. He hails from Germany and is likely to look for work in his home country.
Iowa State: Brackins Decides NBA Can Wait
Iowa State sophomore forward Craig Brackins announced that he will return to Ames for his junior season. Brackins was an All-Big 12 selection after averaging 20.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
Tennessee: Prince Repairs Shoulder
Tennessee junior guard J.P. Prince is recovering from arthroscopic reconstructive surgery on his right shoulder to hopefully eliminate the pain that he played through this past season. Prince averaged 9.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
Connecticut: Ineligible Freshman Declares for Draft
Connecticut freshman forward Ater Majok, who is ineligible to play until the end of the upcoming fall semester, has declared for the NBA Draft. Majok does not plan to hire an agent, which means he can return to school. He was a controversial recruit because of a link to former Huskies student manager Josh Nochimson, who was tied to Nate Miles. Connecticut kicked out Miles before the season started.
LSU: Johnson Lands SEC Rival Transfer
Former Mississippi sophomore forward Malcolm White has decided to transfer to LSU to play for coach Trent Johnson and the Tigers. White averaged 7.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
North Carolina: Lawson and Ellington Enter Draft
After taking weeks to decide whether to stay at North Carolina, junior guards Wayne Ellington and Ty Lawson announced that they would enter the draft. Because they tested the draft process last season, they are ineligible to return to school. Their departure ensures that that the Tar Heels will lose 77 percent of their scoring from the championship team.
Davidson: Curry Decides to Go to NBA
Davidson junior guard Stephen Curry ended a nearly month-long debate about his future by declaring for the NBA Draft. Considered to be a probable lottery pick in the draft in June, Curry seriously considered returning for his senior season despite leading the nation in scoring this past season.
Maryland: Vasquez Enters Draft Without Agent
Maryland junior guard Greivis Vasquez announced that he will enter the NBA Draft, though he does not plan to hire an agent. The Terrapins’ most electric player, Vasquez averaged 17.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
Nevada: Phillips Dismissed Amid Gun Charges
Nevada freshman forward Ahyaro Phillips was dismissed from the the Wolf Pack after he was arrested and charged with possession of a deadly weapon on a university campus.
