USC will lose two more players from last season’s team as sophomore Donte Smith and freshman Mamadou Diarra have decided to leave the team. Smith, who averaged 2.3 points per game this past season, has decided to transfer to Division II Cal State San Bernardino. He left the team because he wanted an opportunity to receive more playing time. Meanwhile, Diarra, who averaged 0.7 points per game this past season, left the team because he plans to play professionally in France. If those plans don’t pan out, he will consider transferring to a D-II school, too.
