Massachusetts coach Derek Kellogg has dismissed guard Doug Wiggins before the Connecticut transfer ever played a game for the Minutemen. Wiggins was arrested in November for breaking and entering. Wiggins decided to transfer to Massachusetts after leaving Connecticut in 2008. He averaged 6.8 points per game for the Huskies in 2007-08 but was suspended two games while there for possession of alcohol as a minor.
