Illinois coach Bruce Weber received a pay raise and contract extension after leading the Illini to the NCAA Tournament last season, one season after a 16-19 finish. Weber’s pay will increase from $1 million to $1.5 million starting in January 2010 and his contract will run through April 2015, a three-year extension. In six seasons with the Illini, Weber has a 152-57 record and has taken the team to the NCAA Tournament five times.
