Tennessee: Ramar Smith Charged With Aggravated Robbery

Former Tennessee guard Ramar Smith turned himself in to police and was charged with aggravated robbery. According to Smith’s accuser, Smith came to an apartment to buy marijuana, and a second person entered after Smith. The two allegedly stole $6,000 in cash and a half pound of marijuana. Smith averaged 7.4 points and 3.2 assists per game for the Volunteers in 2007-08 before coach Bruce Pearl dismissed him from the team for Smith’s off-court behavior.
