Michael Jordan’s son, Jeff, is leaving the Illinois team after two seasons to focus on his studies. Jordan was a walk-on and earned a scholarship before the 2009 spring semester.

Davidson will play in the 2009 Aeropostale Holiday Festival Dec. 20-21. Joining them in the nation’s longest-running holiday tournament at Madison Square Garden will be Cornell, Hofstra and St. John’s.

UPDATE: Prosecutors declined to charge former USC player Stais Boseman (1993-97) with carjacking after he was arrested as a suspect June 21. Boseman averaged 16 points and 4.1 rebounds per game during his senior season at USC.
