With Marquette senior Maurice Acker scheduled to graduate in December with a degree in communications, the guard has decided he will not return to the team for his last season, according to a university release.
Acker played two seasons at Marquette and averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 68 games.
“He is one semester shy of completing his degree and we all believed it was in Maurice’s best interest for that to be his priority,” head coach Buzz Williams said.
