Former Pacific-10 commissioner Wiles Hallock, who oversaw the league from 1971-83, died at his home Monday, according to CBSSports.com. He was 91.
Hallock saw a then-Pac-8 become the Pac-10 in 1978 when Arizona and Arizona State joined. Before that, he held a position as commissioner of the Western Athletic Conference.
No cause of death has been given as of yet.
