Western Kentucky coach Ken McDonald released freshman guard Terrence Boyd, ending his Boyd’s Hilltopper career before it ever started, according to a university release. McDonald did not provide details about his decision, saying that “things didn’t work out.”
Boyd is from Oklahoma and played one season at the heralded Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. He was a top 100 recruit.
