Former Nevada forward Malik Cooke has decided to play for South Carolina, even if he has to pay his own way as a walk-on this season, according to a South Carolina press release.
Cooke averaged 9.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore for the Wolf Pack last season. He will sit out this season, as the NCAA mandates for transfers, and will have two years of eligibility remaining in 2010-11.
