A hot 2009 Sun Belt Conference Tournament will bring the championship back to Hot Springs, Ark., in 2010, according to a conference release.
Following a league championship that saw attendance records, the Sun Belt has decided it will hold all of its 2010 playoffs at Summit Arena once again. The tournament will run from March 6-9 and include all 13 conference members. Just as in years past, the top team of each Sun Belt division and the team with the next best conference record will receive byes into the quarterfinals.
There will be 10 games on the opening day of the tournament, five for women’s basketball and five for men’s. The quarterfinals, on March 7, will have eight games. The semifinals will be played the next day, and the championship game the day after.
