Massachusetts coach Derek Kellogg dismissed sophomore forward Tyrell Lynch from the team, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Kellogg said he made the decision to benefit the team, and Lynch’s departure is not the result of a specific event. In one season with the Minutemen, Lynch averaged 3.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game.
