Indiana will have freshman center Bawa Muniru available when the season starts next week because the NCAA ruled that Muniru is eligible, according to an Associated Press report.
The native of Tumu, Ghana, played at a U.S. high school for the past two seasons, and the NCAA investigated his previous playing career to ensure that he did not violate eligibility standards.
The 6-11 center will be ready to play when Indiana takes on Howard in the season opener Nov. 13
