Northwestern senior forward Kevin Coble injured his left foot during practice Nov. 11 and will undergo tests to determine the severity of the injury, according to a university press release.
Coble is a critical component of the Wildcats’ bid to reach the NCAA Tournament this season. He averaged 15.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game last season for the Wildcats, who remained relevant as a bubble team until late in the season.
If Coble misses significant time, Northwestern would face big games against Butler, Notre Dame and North Carolina State without the team’s best player.
