South Kent won’t rival anyone for the most talent in NEPSAC this time around, but that doesn’t mean they should be counted out by a long shot. They have a lot of players that could accurately be described as effective.

The college coaches who gathered at the New Hampton School on Monday night saw that Noah Vonleh may be the main attraction, but he has a good supporting cast.

Milton Academy returns some key pieces from last season’s team, and that figures to give them a chance in what figures to be an even more competitive NEPSAC Class A this time around.

St. Andrew’s doesn’t have the size they’ve had the last couple of seasons, but Mike Hart likes something else about this team: they appear to have some depth they haven’t had.

Now in his second season leading Worcester Academy, Jamie Sullivan has a team with a little more experience under their belt after being a young group last year. If a few things come together for this group, there’s reason to think they can contend in a more wide-open NEPSAC Class AA this season.

At Phillips Exeter Academy, the academic qualifications of the players are not in doubt. On the hardwood, this year’s team appears to have a little more talent than those of recent years, so college coaches coming by will like what they see even more.

It probably sounds like a broken record by now, but we’ll sum up Brewster Academy’s team on paper as we and many others have in recent years: they are loaded.

Cushing Academy has at times seemed like a perpetually young team. This time around, however, he’ll have a veteran squad by just about any measure, as seven upperclassmen dot the roster and that includes most of the key players on this team. That combination could yield a big year for this team.
