This year’s edition of Xavier isn’t quite up there with some others in the recent past. But the Musketeers started off a key stretch to end the regular season with a win at Rhode Island and hope that will propel them further with some home games ahead.
Seton Hall continued to struggle to get wins against a very good Marquette team. Marquette utilized a big start to the second half to seal this one.

Boston University is on a roll late in the season, and with a lot to motivate them it’s not surprising. They are still hopeful of a postseason tournament bid, even if it’s not the NCAA Tournament.
Providence has hit their stride, albeit later than they surely hoped. The Friars have now won four straight games and have the look of a dangerous team down the stretch, as Saturday’s win over Notre Dame demonstrates.
Harvard is young, and a young player had a big weekend for them, but after winning the first showdown with Princeton, the Crimson are alone in first place in the Ivy League.

Notre Dame didn’t play well in losing at Providence on Saturday. The game will go down as an aberration for this team, in part because they lost to a team that has been playing very well of late.
