As much of a dark of a day as Tuesday’s FBI indictments were was, it also was a great day presenting ample opportunity to make college basketball better, and to do better for our youth.

A healthy Oregon State would make the forgettable 2016-17 season a distant memory
Last year was a year to forget for Oregon State after it began with high expectations. The core they had remains intact a year later, and if healthy, they could lead the Beavers to a season that looks more like 2015-16.
Even with a new coach and a few new starters, Butler should be just fine
Butler has a few question marks this season with a new head coach and a few starters gone from last season’s team. But if past is prologue, the Bulldogs should be just fine.
