Welcome back to the Morning Dish for the 2017-18 season. With college basketball opening day just a week away, we begin quick looks at each conference entering the season, in alphabetical order:
Presenting our annual list of what we simply call our list of teams to keep an eye on coming into the season. Some fall in the category of up-and-coming teams or sleeper picks. Some are powers. Some are just teams we enjoy watching. In most cases, we just think these are teams you’re going to be hearing from before the end of this year.
It’s time for another season of college basketball, and right now, there’s a cloud hanging over the sport that calls for a bit of perspective as we gear up.
