Welcome to the latest edition of Talking Hoops With Ted Sarandis. Championship Week is now in full swing, with the regular season slate complete, and we take this opportunity to largely look at how many of the conferences ended the regular season.
We start with the ACC, where Florida State won the outright regular season title and for the first time ever, the ACC Tournament will not have any of Duke, North Carolina, NC State or Wake Forest as one of the top three seeds.
We go over the Big 12, where Kansas has won the regular season title once again after not doing so last season, as well as Dayton going undefeated in the Atlantic 10 but more importantly looking like a team worthy of a No. 1 seed. Then we get to the Big East and Big Ten each ending in three-way ties at the top, as well as the Pac-12 going to Oregon.
After we get into a couple of other conferences, we touch on Gonzaga reaching a remarkable 23rd straight West Coast Conference championship game and a fourth straight 30-win season, as well as a couple of other conference tournaments of note. Finally, we wrap up with coaching changes that have come over the past couple of days.
We hope you enjoy the podcast and share it with your fellow college basketball fans. Be sure to tune in later in the week as we talk more about conference tournament action ahead of the NCAA Tournament.
