It doesn’t matter how realistic television sets get, or how much fun it might be to follow social media feeds during a sporting event. There is no substitution for being there. And never will be. With that, we present our ultimate road trip for the season if we could have one.
2017-18 CBB Preview Questions: The one giant, unquantifiable variable
Of the many questions one can conjure up entering a season (Who’s the national title favorite? Why is Team XYZ only a 7 seed and not a 6 in someone’s preseason bracketology? Presenting our annual list of what we simply call our list of teams to keep an eye on coming into the season. Some fall in the category of up-and-coming teams or sleeper picks. Some are powers. Some are just teams we enjoy watching. In most cases, we just think these are teams you’re going to be hearing from before the end of this year.
Dark day for college basketball also presents golden opportunity
As much of a dark of a day as Tuesday’s FBI indictments were was, it also was a great day presenting ample opportunity to make college basketball better, and to do better for our youth.
End of Great Alaska Shootout sad day for college hoops
A Thanksgiving college basketball tradition will come to a close after this season with the end of the Great Alaska Shootout. And the sport will lose a little bit of its flavor because of it.
