The truth is, there is no more reason to support a shorter shot clock than there is to advocate for lengthening the clock. So why not a 45-second shot clock? There are as many good reasons to go longer as there are shorter.

Rule changes for college basketball to adapt, avoid
College basketball is not a sport in crisis. Evaluation is always a good thing, though, so it’s perfectly fair to consider the sport and whether rule changes and amendments would benefit it. Here are some changes we’d like to see, and some that should be junked from consideration for a good long while.
