Huskies Not Ready to Go Home Yet
Call it what you will, but any way you slice it, Northeastern wasn’t about to go home just yet. It took two overtimes, but the Huskies came away with a hard-fought quarterfinal win.
VCU Gets Two Things They Need in Win
Two things that weren’t always a given this season happened for VCU in Saturday’s 75-60 win over George Mason. Considering the up and down season they have had and the slugfest that much of the game was, they couldn’t have come at a much better time.
Old Dominion’s Depth, Rebounding Are Keys
Old Dominion’s 86-56 romp over Towson to start Saturday’s quarterfinal action at the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament was an example of thorough domination. Harvard Still Has Much to Play For
Contrary to popular belief, Harvard’s season didn’t end with Friday night’s loss to Cornell. To be sure, the Crimson need help – a lot of it, in fact – if they are to win the Ivy League now. But Tommy Amaker knows his team still has plenty to play for, and made sure his players knew it.
