Holy Cross knows that the way to win is by playing defense. As such, the Crusaders know that the wins have been hard to come by this season because they have had some struggles at that end of the floor. But they certainly showed up there on Sunday, as they started the crucial final week of the regular season with a 64-51 win over American.

But this one is a little different from those of the past, and there’s one thing that clearly makes this one a little different as Saint Joseph’s struggles at 3-8 in the Atlantic 10.

Rice’s Formula For Success Continues to Work

Since Mike Rice took over at Robert Morris, the program has had nothing but success. The Colonials have won back-to-back regular season titles and could be on their way to a third in a row. There’s been a formula that he has stuck to all along, and it’s seen good success again this season as he works with a mix of freshmen and upperclassmen, although there have been bumps in the road.
