Holy Cross coach Ralph Willard resigned today to accept an associate coach position at Louisville. He joins Rick Pitino for a third time in his career after working with Louisville’s coach in the late 1980s. At Holy Cross, Willard had nearly 200 wins in 10 seasons.

USC coach Tim Floyd resigned today in a letter sent to Trojan officials. Floyd coached the Trojans for four seasons and compiled an 85-40 record.
