Davidson junior guard Stephen Curry ended a nearly month-long debate about his future by declaring for the NBA Draft. Considered to be a probable lottery pick in the draft in June, Curry seriously considered returning for his senior season despite leading the nation in scoring this past season.

NCAA: Draft Rules Change
The NCAA’s legislative committee enacted a rule that will give players less time to decide to remain in the NBA Draft or return to school. The panel changed the deadline from mid-June to May 8, effective in 2010.
North Dakota: One Step Closer to Keeping Sioux Nickname
A North Dakota Sioux tribe voted in favor of the North Dakota Fighting Sioux nickname and logo. North Dakota must prove that the state’s resident Sioux tribes do not disapprove of the university’s Fighting Sioux nickname and Indian head logo before the NCAA will remove the school’s teams from the list of hostile and abusive nicknames.
Kansas State: One Wildcat Transfers, Another Faces Legal Trouble
Kansas State sophomore forward Ron Anderson will leave the Wildcats to transfer to another team. He averaged 5.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, junior forward Curtis Kelly was arrested for failing to appear in court for warrants related to unpaid traffic violations. Kelly sat out this past season after transferring to the Wildcats from Connecticut.
Arkansas: Moore Leaves Razorbacks
Arkansas freshman forward Brandon Moore announced that he will leave the Razorbacks after his freshman year. Moore averaged 1.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
