Notes on the opening night of college basketball, which was essentially for diehards only after being buried by poor decision-making that set the season’s start date on…Election Night? The night did include a few upsets and some individual standouts amidst a mass of buy games.
Presenting our now-annual list of 20 teams we’re watching this season, an open-ended wide view of nation with teams we think are on the way up, might face pivotal seasons, or we just plain enjoy watching.
Another season beckons, and this one after an eventful off-season. Plus one of two suspensions has some up in arms, a heart condition has thankfully been handled, and a Buckeye leaves just ahead of the season start.
