An otherwise non-descript non-conference game in mid-November included one of the more tantalizing-and enjoyable-scenes we will see all of this college basketball season.
Can this be the Army team that finally wins a Patriot League title?
Army was on a nice rise with its core up until Patriot League play last season, when they came back to earth. Now with a core of seniors, can this team be the one that finally takes home a Patriot League title?
2014-15 Patriot League Post-Mortem
The Patriot League remains in a good place, as it had a highly-competitive race as expected and should see more of the same next season as well.

We’re down to nine unbeaten teams after Saturday, though the 10th undefeated left this season did not go quietly. Northern Iowa made the trip to VCU for the second time in four seasons, and the game between the Panthers and Rams was the best of the day Saturday. Virginia Commonwealth got a cold-blooded three-pointer from Treveon Graham in the second overtime and went on to a 93-87 win for a much-needed bounce back after the Rams’ loss at home to Virginia a week ago.
