Mount St. Mary’s has been through quite a bit in the last year or so. But they have overcome what has been thrown at them time and time again, and are now off to the Northeast Conference Tournament semifinals after winning their eighth straight game.
Bryant’s season came to an unexpected end on Wednesday night in the Northeast Conference Tournament. Storybook endings almost never happen in real life, and this was another case of that.
Saturday was a big day in college basketball as a number of conferences ended their regular season and a number of big matchups took place among the 147 Division I games. With conference tournaments right around the corner, here are some thoughts coming from Saturday’s games.
The MAAC will hold its conference tournament in Springfield, Mass., the birthplace of the sport, in 2012-14.
